This recording is a collection of pieces or modules for improvising musicians,
recorded over a period of 6 months.

Each section is based on one or more ideas derived from formations and patterns occurring in Nature:
Ripples and dunes, cloud patterns, angular patterns, meanders and so on.

These are snapshots of certain moments in dynamic processes.
Their forms are mainly simple, but their content can be complex.
Energy and form interact in the patterns, in a way similar to improvised music.

The music is composed of collective improvisations, with instructions or
notated pieces inspired by the patterns from Nature.
We relate to them in various ways, from following them closely and concretely,
to more abstract interpretations, and the pieces on this recording are our own snapshots of the ensemble process.
